I am currently exploring and researching the idea of silence, stillness and waiting as things of substance, of tangibility; substance and matter, dark and shadow, weighted and light, of occupying space. Drawing and mark making are key to the exploration, understanding and clarification of thinking and concepts running in parallel with the making and constructing with materials such as linen, wood, metal and paint to enable a depth of consideration and outcome.
